AUTOBIOGRAPHY My name is Gulmira Nesipbekovna Appakova. I was born on October 3, 1974, in the city of Talgar, Republic of Kazakhstan. After graduating from secondary school with a gold medal in 1991, I studied at the Kazakh State Academy of Management and earned a diploma with distinction in 1995, majoring in “Accounting and Auditing.” Upon completing my studies at the academy in 1995, I continued my education in the postgraduate program at T. Ryskulov Kazakh State University of Economics, where I successfully defended my dissertation in 1999 and was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences. In 2010, I received the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of Economics. From 2008 to 2010, I pursued doctoral studies (PhD) at T. Ryskulov KazEU, and in 2011, I defended my doctoral dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in “Finance.” Alongside my academic development, I continuously enhanced my professional competencies. Working as the Chief Accountant at the Bolat Zholy Corporation, I obtained the qualification certificate of Professional Accountant. In 2016, I became a certified Auditor of the Republic of Kazakhstan and currently serve as an expert of the League of Auditors. I have extensive academic and pedagogical experience, having worked at Narxoz University from 1995 to 2025, where I served as the Head of the Educational and Methodological Council “Assessment” from 2022 to 2025. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have repeatedly upgraded my qualifications, earning international certificates through various courses, trainings, and educational programs in “Accounting and Auditing.” I have also received Certificates of Appreciation and Letters of Gratitude, and since 2023, I have been awarded the medal “Honored Auditor.” At present, I continue my academic and pedagogical work at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and remain committed to further enhancing my scientific and professional competencies
